Join us to share your maternity and neonatal care experiences
We would love to hear from….
- Black, brown & minoritised ethnic women and birthing people.
- Anyone whose first or preferred language isn’t English.
- There will be language support in Bengali, Arabic, and Turkish.
On 24th November 2025
Location – Central Brighton (TBC)
From 10am – 2pm
Places are limited so you need to register. If you are a Bengali/Arabic/Turkish speaker, please email laura@sussexinterpreting.org.uk. You can email in English or Bengali/Arabic/Turkish and a translator will contact you to confirm your details and register you for a place.

About the Event
- Come along & share your experience in a small group with other women, facilitated by Bridging Change & Sussex Interpreting.
- Talk about what went well and what could have gone better. Help us shape more inclusive care for future families. (your experience will remain anonymous)
- We will provide a warm, welcoming and safe space.
- You can bring your baby or child up to the age of 4 years.
- We can reimburse your travel costs & parking for attending. We will provide lunch & refreshments.
