Organisation Care for the Carers

Location Lewes, Eastbourne, Wealden

Help your workplace become Carer Friendly

As part of Care for the Carers’ Building a Carer Friendly Community initiative, we want to ensure that unpaid carers in East Sussex are recognised for the contribution they make to their families and communities and feel supported, so that their lives are a little easier.

We offer a programme of FREE Think Carer Training for professionals (including volunteers) in public sector, charities, community groups and businesses who are in contact with carers. The training is available on a variety of dates and times, in person and online.

Book a place on an upcoming session and help to make East Sussex a Carer Friendly county. There is in-person training coming up in Eastbourne on 18th March at Faraday House, and online sessions on 22nd April and 15th May.

All dates and more information about Building a Carer Friendly Community can be found at bit.ly/ThinkCarer

“My knowledge of carers and how we interact with them in general but especially in a professional setting has completely changed – things I hadn’t considered at all previously have been laid out so clearly to me after the session with Carole. I am most definitely thinking carer now!” Lauren, East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust
