Free Electric Blanket Testing
East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service are inviting people to bring their blankets along for a free safety check.
Last year nearly 500 blankets were tested and 37% failed the tests. With over 40 house fires in the UK caused each year by electric blankets it makes sense to have your blanket checked.
People attending the sessions are offered home safety visits which can include the fitting of free smoke alarms. www.esfrs.org
