Organisation Sharon Attfield-Davis

Volunteer Minibus Driver

At Chailey Heritage Foundation, we believe every young person deserves the chance to explore the world around them. As one of our dedicated drivers, you’ll play a vital role in helping children and young people access exciting experiences, build confidence, and enjoy greater independence.

Purpose of the Role

To make a real difference in the lives of children and young people by driving them to places where they can learn, explore, and have fun.

What You’ll Do

Carry out simple vehicle safety checks to make sure the minibus is safe and ready for the journey.

Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and welcoming for everyone on board.

Complete a quick log after each trip and let the team know if anything needs attention.

Lend a helping hand when children and young people are getting on and off the bus — including safely securing wheelchairs

This role is flexible. You can volunteer on an ad hoc basis or choose a regular volunteering day.
