Volunteers - The Chaseley Trust
The Chaseley Trust in Eastbourne was set up in 1946.
This year we celebrate our 80th Anniversary.
The Chaseley is one of the UK’s few charity - owned care homes specialising in providing long-term care for 55 residents with complex neuro-disabilities such as a Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, and Motor Neurone Disease.
We are looking to recruit new volunteers to join our wonderful existing Volunteer Team to support us in the many activities we organise for our residents.
If you are
• Friendly
• Kind
• Welcoming
• Compassionate
• Flexible
… we would love to hear from you
We would like volunteers who can help please with the following: -
• To chat with our residents
when they come along each day to our coffee lounge to have a cup of tea or coffee and to socialise
• To take part in activities such as arts and crafts
that take place with residents throughout the week
• To take part in bingo and quizzes
that take place with residents during the week
• Gardening
We have beautiful gardens with stunning sea views located as we are on the seafront in Eastbourne.
All help in maintaining our gardens really does improve the quality of the lives of our residents
• To take part in events such as the Chaseley Nightclub
We have different evening and day events.
Once a month for example, we have the Chaseley Nightclub where our residents and adults with disabilities from the community enjoy a dance and a chance to meet others
Should you be able to volunteer to help with any of the above activities please do get in contact with Julie Norris our Volunteer Coordinator at email: - volunteers@chaseleytrust.org
