Volunteer Kitchen Assistant - Lewes - Age UK East Sussex

It’s important to provide accessible recreational facilities for the over 50s and wider community, as a Kitchen Assistant Volunteer at the Lewes House of Friendship you will become an important part of our café and catering team, helping us provide great food and friendly service both at our Centre, and delivered locally to Lewes residents. Working alongside one of our Kitchen Managers, you will assist with preparing and serving high-quality food and drinks. You will also support the Kitchen Team with serving customers and helping to ensure the kitchen and café areas are kept safe, clean and tidy.

You will need to enjoy working well as part of a team and be friendly and confident when engaging with customers.

Hours: 1 day per week – Monday, 11.00am to 2.00pm. It’s really easy to start the volunteering process with us. If you’re over 18 years old, please apply now!
