Grassroots, community-based organisations can apply.

To be eligible, applicants must be:

  • Not-for-profit.
  • Non-political.
  • Focused on longevity and sustainability.

Eligible Expenditure:

Grants can be used to support grassroots, neighbourhood-based community projects that improve mental health, wellbeing, inclusion, and skills development, with a focus on activities that have sustainable impact and the potential to continue beyond the initial funding and can show a focus on longevity and sustainability.

The aim is to help build happy, strong and resilient communities, with an emphasis on projects designed to deliver sustainable outcomes.

The grants can be used to support neighbourhood-based community projects linked to the fund’s priorities. Eligible activities include those intended to create longer-term impact and that have the potential to continue beyond the initial grant period. Priority is given to work that is designed to be sustainable.
