Make a driving difference in Eastbourne! 🚐✨

The Eastbourne Blind Society is looking for enthusiastic Volunteer Minibus Drivers to help our members stay connected, active, and independent. If you enjoy driving and meeting new people, this is the perfect way to give back to your local community.

🌟 What You Will Do:

• Provide vital transport: Pick up blind and visually impaired members from their homes and bring them to our lively centre or take them on exciting day trips.
• Offer a friendly face: Help members safely board and exit the minibus, providing a helping hand and a warm welcome.

👤 Who We Are Looking For:

• Safe drivers: You must hold a clean, valid UK driving license with the correct entitlement to drive a minibus (D1 or equivalent, depending on when you passed your test).
• Reliable and caring people: A patient, friendly nature and a passion for helping others.
• Local helpers: Drivers who know the Eastbourne area well (or are happy to learn!).

⏳ Time Commitment:

We welcome whatever time you can spare! Whether you can offer a few hours a week or a couple of days a month, we can work around your schedule.
