Join Community Action East Sussex for this Volunteer Coordinator Forum with a focus on volunteering for young people.

We get many requests from members of the public looking for volunter roles for under 18s but often struggle to find opportunities to signpost them to. So, we’d like to bring together those who lead volunteers to discuss what has worked well for anyone already taking on under 18s and how further groups can look to recruit young volunteers.

• Kira Parsons from East Sussex Community Voice, who manages Young Healthwatch, will present her experience of managing young volunteers.
• Dot Kirk-Adams from East Sussex County Council will speak to us about Tribe’s young volunteer opportunity listings.
• There will be plenty of time for networking also.
• Refreshments will be provided.

Parking on site is limited but there is usually plenty of parking available on the streets around the Community Centre.
