Running a village hall means picking up plenty of knowledge as you go, and it’s not always clear where to find it. Action in rural Sussex’s Autumn & Winter Training Programme covers the practical and legal essentials, from PAT testing to trustee responsibilities, with the chance to swap notes with people running halls elsewhere in Sussex.

Sessions run from October 2026 through to spring 2027, both in person and online, including the Annual Village Hall Conference, PAT Testing, Risk Assessment, transferring to a CIO and Trustee Roles and Responsibilities.
