Let’s Talk Menopause: Understanding Symptoms, Treatments & HRT – Event
Date: Wednesday 28 October 2026
Time: 5:30pm to 6:30pm
This free session aims to improve awareness and understanding of menopause, exploring common symptoms, available treatment options and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). The event forms part of our wider commitment to providing accessible health education and encouraging informed conversations around important health and wellbeing topics.
Join our talk with Dr Alex Graham to learn more about menopause, its symptoms and the different treatment options available.
Menopause can bring many changes, but understanding what’s happening and knowing what support is available can make all the difference.
Whether you’re approaching menopause, currently experiencing symptoms, supporting someone through it, or simply want to learn more, this session is for you.
What will we cover?
During the session, Dr Graham will discuss:
- Signs and symptoms: Recognising the physical, emotional and psychological symptoms of perimenopause and menopause.
- Diagnosis: How menopause is identified and when tests may be needed.
- Treatment options: Exploring hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and non-hormonal alternatives.
- Testosterone: Understanding its role in menopause care and when it may be considered.
- HRT and breast cancer risk: Looking at the evidence, understanding the risks and benefits, and addressing common concerns.
An opportunity to learn and ask questions
The aim of this session is to provide clear, evidence-based information, help address common misconceptions and support informed conversations about menopause.
We hope you will leave feeling more knowledgeable, confident and empowered to make decisions about your health and wellbeing.
Everyone is welcome, whatever your age, gender or stage of life.
We look forward to seeing you there!
