Statement of Community Involvement for Lewes District
You’ve been invited to participate in the Statement of Community Involvement for Lewes District consultation by the consultation manager, Lewes District and Eastbourne Borough Council (Tabinda Chowdhury).
This consultation is open from 25 Jun 2026 at 08:00 to 6 Aug 2026 at 17:00.
Lewes District Council is inviting representations on its revised Statement of Community Involvement (SCI).
The SCI sets out how the Council will engage with residents, businesses and other stakeholders in the planning process, including the preparation of local plans and the determination of planning applications. The document is being updated to reflect changes in national policy and guidance, as well as recent experience of consultation, to ensure that engagement is accessible, efficient and effective.
The consultation will run for a period of 6 weeks, from 08:00 on 25 June 2026 until 17:00 on 6 August 2026.
