MAPPA Training Events– Sussex – 2026

The MAPPA Team in Surrey and Sussex are pleased to offer the below training events.

Part 1: Introduction to MAPPA

Available to all agencies. This is an introductory briefing about MAPPA. The session includes topics such as the purpose of MAPPA, who is managed under MAPPA, and what the levels and categories are.

Part 2: Attending MAPPA Meetings

Available to lead agencies and anyone attending MAPPA Meetings. This training highlights the purpose of MAPPA meeting, how to prepare for a meeting and what you can expect when attending a MAPPA meeting.

Part 3: Lead Agency MAPPA Briefing

Available to staff from any MAPPA Lead Agency (HM Prison and Probation Service, Police, Mental Health Services/Adult Social Care, and Secure and Youth Justice Services). This briefing is aimed to support practitioners from Lead Agencies who have responsibility for the management of MAPPA cases, including level 1 management and referrals to level 2 or 3.
