NEW Safer Sleep SUDI Prevention Training – 12th October 2026

We want to encourage all professionals who work directly with, or may encounter, parents and carers of babies to attend our new Safer Sleep SUDI prevention training session.

This training will be delivered by Natalie Price, Child Death Review Specialist Nurse, and is designed to help reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

The session will provide staff working within Surrey and Sussex with the knowledge, and confidence to recognise key fisk factors, enable them to have effective conversations about safer sleep practices and support families in understanding how to manage a crying baby.

Help us by promoting the training within your agency. A recording of the session will be available after the event for those who are unable to attend.

If you would like to arrange a bespoke session for your team, please contact Natalie Price directly to discuss your requirements: Natalie.Price3@nhs.net
