The Long Game – Child Exploitation – 17th November 2026 10:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. via Microsoft Team
Introduction from Adam Elliot, Course facilitator:
I’ve seen first-hand how trauma, exploitation, and a lack of trusted adults can influence the path a young person takes. I’ve experienced failures from missed opportunities and seen how one person believing in you, noticing you, and refusing to give up on you can change everything. That’s why I share my story so openly: to give practitioners insight, to challenge assumptions, and to remind people of the impact they can have, often without even realising it.
The Long Game Training is built around this passion. It’s designed for professionals working with young people, with a strong focus on Inclusion, trusted adult relationships, and understanding the realities of child criminal exploitation. It’s also about equipping professionals to play the long game, seeing beyond the immediate crisis and supporting recovery that takes time, stability, and specialist insight.
