Carers in Touch volunteer

Do you have a couple of hours to spare once a week? Would you like to make a real difference to the lives of unpaid carer across East Sussex making phone calls from home?

We are currently looking to recruit volunteers for one of our projects, Carers in Touch. This project provides invaluable support to carers via regular social phone calls providing a listening ear and alleviating loneliness. These calls to carers are made entirely by volunteers so it’s important we continue to make sure we have enough volunteers to connect with local carers.

We provide training, IT equipment, ongoing support and opportunities to network with fellow volunteers. We’d love to hear from you if you might be interested in joining our volunteer team – please contact nicolam@cftc.org.uk.
