Community Hub Volunteer

Location: Sussex Guildhall Community Hub, Eastbourne Town Hall.

Sussex Guildhall CIC is creating a place where nobody has to be lonely. We're looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help us create a warm and welcoming community hub.

As a Community Hub Host & Café Assistant, you'll welcome visitors, prepare and serve refreshments, take payments, help keep the Hub clean and tidy, and support activities and events. You'll play an important role in helping visitors feel comfortable, included, and connected.

We're looking for people who are:

• Friendly and approachable
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Good with people
• Team players who enjoy helping others

No previous experience is needed—just a positive attitude and a passion for supporting the local community.

Volunteer when it suits you. We welcome volunteers for as little or as much time as they'd like during our opening hours:

• Thursday: 10:00am – 2:00pm
• Friday: 10:00am – 2:00pm
• Saturday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
• Sunday: 10:00am – 5:00pm

Whether you can spare a couple of hours each month or several shifts each week, we'd love to have you as part of the team.
