Volunteer Meal Delivery Drivers - Lewes House of Friendship

Volunteer Delivery Drivers Needed – Make a Real Difference in Your Community

Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to make a real, meaningful difference in your community?

We are currently looking for three volunteer delivery drivers to support our hot meal delivery service on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

We provide full training and ongoing support, and you’ll be able to claim reasonable expenses, including mileage at 45p per mile. As a volunteer driver, you’ll be a friendly and professional representative of the Lewes House of Friendship. We’re seeking people who are sociable, reliable, honest, empathetic, and who enjoy meeting new people. Ensuring meals are delivered promptly is key so that every member receives a hot, nourishing meal.

Requirements: • A full driving licence, • Your own vehicle, • An interest in supporting people in later life

At the Lewes House of Friendship, we believe in offering a warm, accessible environment for people over 50 and the wider community. Part of that commitment includes delivering freshly cooked meals to those who are unable to visit the House in person — and that’s where volunteers like you make an incredible impact.
