Volunteer Mentor (Girls and Young Women)

At The Girls' Network, we know that you can't be what you can't see. That's why we connect girls and young women with relatable role models who help them build confidence, broaden their horizons and imagine futures full of possibility.

We're looking for women in East Sussex to become volunteer mentors for girls attending local schools.

As a mentor, you'll be matched with one girl and meet with her for six one-to-one mentoring sessions over approximately six months. Together, you'll explore her strengths, interests and aspirations, helping her build confidence and discover opportunities she may never have considered.

You don't need previous mentoring experience. We welcome women from all backgrounds and career paths and provide comprehensive training before you begin, along with ongoing support throughout the programme.

By volunteering just 2–3 hours each month, you can help a local girl broaden her horizons and feel more confident about her future.
