Volunteer Supervisory Steward

We are looking for volunteer supervisory stewards to support our exhibitions at The Crypt Gallery in Seaford and become a valued part of a small passionate team.

By getting involved, you could...

• Play a vital role in a small and supportive team, helping keep our services and activities running
• Meet new people who also volunteer, and make connections within our community
• Develop your own skills
• Learn about the different types of arts and how to speak to the public about art.

What’s involved?

• Being the Lead Steward at exhibitions when open to the public
• Being responsible for opening and closing the gallery including using the alarm code system
• Taking card and cash payments
• Providing a positive welcome to all our visitors
• Providing excellent customer service
• Discussing SCIP’s services and the history of the undercroft with customers
