Volunteer Support and Outreach Worker (East Sussex)

Are you a warm, people-centred person who loves bringing communities together?

A Touch of Gentleness is a heart-led CIC with over 150 trained volunteers offering free hand massage and gentle listening presence across the community — and we're looking for someone to help nurture and support our volunteer network in East Sussex.

You'll be a friendly point of contact for newly qualified volunteers, organise occasional local coffee meet-ups, foster a culture of care, and represent the organisation at networking events online and in person. You'll need strong communication and listening skills, basic IT confidence (email, WhatsApp, Google Forms), and a genuine passion for human connection and inclusion.

Commitment: 10–15 hours per week, flexible. A car is preferred. This role will require some remote work, and some in-person work around East Sussex.
