Amaze Story Trail: Launch and Special invite

Amaze’s Story Trail starts on 12^th September. The Story Trail is a public sculpture trail, featuring over 70 BookBenches (that is benches shaped like an open book), created by professional artists and young people.  Sculptures will be placed across Brighton & Hove in both indoor and outdoor locations. At the end of the trail, the small sculptures will return to their creators (schools, nurseries, youth groups) to keep forever and the large sculptures will be auctioned to raise money for Amaze. 

We hope the event will be a big fundraiser for us, and gives us the opportunity to discuss community, diversity, inclusion and belonging within the city, and Sussex. It is also working towards our goal of diversifying our income and raising awareness of our services for families.

You are warmly invited to join me and some of Amaze’s trustees on a walking tour of some the benches on Friday 16^th October.  We will meet at Amaze’s Brighton office, 4.30pm at Community Base, 113 Queens Road, BN1 3XG to walk around some of the Benches in the city centre, for approximately 90 minutes, before returning to Community Base for some light refreshments and networking.  Please book your place to confirm your attendance.

• The Big Read on Saturday 12^th September – a free event 11am at Pavilion Gardens to launch and celebrate the trail Story Trail Read-along – Amaze Sussex
• The Selfie Challenge Thursday 24^th September – an event in which teams take as many selfies as they can at different BookBenches, organised by Plus Accounting Story Trail Selfie Challenge – Amaze Sussex
