What’s Clued up all about? What are we? Well for a start we are a shop on the high street that doesn’t sell anything! Our service is FREE and it’s just for young people between the ages of 13 and 25. You can come to us for information, advice and support, for just about anything! Check our information and advice page for more details. As well as being FREE, our service is CONFIDENTIAL, you can TRUST us, we will LISTEN and we won’t judge you

Clued-up is based in Crowborough, East Sussex and exists for the benefit of all young people between 11-25 years within Wealden. The service is focused geographically on Crowborough and the rural communities that surround the town in the north of the district, for which access to many Youth services in both the district and county is more challenging due to geography and travel distances.   Operating from a high profile, visible high street location, Clued-up offers a drop-in facility which opens 5 days a week including early evening, which enables young people access to Information, Advice, Emotional Support, Informal Counselling and Sexual Health Services. Our main activity is to provide information, advice and support on issues including- Housing, Money Matters, Mental, Physical and Sexual Health, Family and Relationships, Law and Rights, Drugs, Employment, Training, Education, Sport, Travel and Leisure. There are also specific services for young women- 'Wednesday Girls' and a group for members of the LGBTQ+ community. In addition, we work in partnership with several linked agencies at Clued-up including Youth Employability Service (Y.E.S.), Youth Offending Team (Y.O.T.), Early Help Keyworkers and The Early Help Intervention team. We also work closely with local GPs, CAMHS, Social Services, other Youth Organisations and appropriate departments within the Local Authority. Our partners at the national level include Youth Access, a membership body who supports Youth Information Advice and Counselling Services (YIACS) and the National Youth Agency (NYA). Clued-up offers a specific service to assist young people with issues concerning their mental health. 'IT'S OK TO TALK' provides a safe space where young people are offered the opportunity to drop in for a casual chat or make an appointment if they wish to talk in more depth about their situation.
