WayfinderWoman

WayfinderWoman offers peer support for women in Eastbourne, providing a safe, welcoming space to feel heard, understood, and less alone. Our support is delivered by trained Peer Supporters with lived experience, creating a compassionate, non-judgemental environment where women can explore what they are going through at their own pace. We offer both one-to-one and group peer support. Individual sessions provide a calm, confidential space to talk, while our weekly group offers an opportunity to connect with other women who may have similar experiences. We work alongside women rather than trying to “fix” them, supporting them to feel more connected and better able to navigate life’s challenges. Our Peer Support Group runs every Wednesday from 11am–12pm, with women welcome to arrive from 10:30am to settle in with a tea or coffee. Our Support Hub is open every Tuesday from 1pm–3pm for women to drop in, find out more about our support or simply have a friendly chat in a relaxed and welcoming space. Women access our support for many reasons, including feeling overwhelmed, struggling with relationships, experiencing isolation or simply needing space to talk. We welcome self-referrals as well as signposting from local organisations, and aim to make our support accessible, inclusive, and grounded in respect and understanding. Please note: Monday, Thursday and Friday are available by appointment only. How to access support: Women can access WayfinderWoman in a way that feels comfortable for them. You can get in touch directly by email, phone, or through our website. Our weekly peer support group is open to all, with no need to book—you’re welcome to drop in and see if it feels right. Individual peer support is also available and arranged based on need and availability. Some women reach out themselves, while others are signposted by services they’re already connected with. However you find us, you will be met with understanding, respect, and a space to go at your own pace. If you’re unsure, you’re very welcome to get in touch and ask any questions.
