Wealden Funding Opportunity – Back to School Payment 2026 Scheme

Wealden District Council has launched the Back to School Payment 2026 scheme, providing a one-off payment of £50 per eligible child to help with essential back-to-school costs such as school uniforms, shoes and stationery. Details are available on the Council’s Cost of Living support pages.

The scheme is available on a first come, first served basis while funding remains available. Applications are open until midnight on 8 September 2026, although the scheme may close sooner if the available funding is fully allocated.
